It is a circular route that takes us from Olost to Orista and return us to Olost by a route with great views.
The ride is in general on dirt roads and the asphalt section is on the old road B433, now only transited by residents.
The maximum inclination is 19% a very few meters and the burricleta climbs with a lot of dignity.
We recommend that you take your time and enjoy the scenery and if you can, also the gastronomic of the area, stopping in the tavern Fonda de Oristà or the Fonda Sala de Olost, where you can request for the “menú burricleta”. Equally, you can also find idyllic spots for a picnic in the heart of nature.
Leaving Olost, you will head towards the hermitage Sant Adjutori, from where you can get a good idea of the areas orography, admiring “The flat area of the lady” el Pla de la Senyora that is just below us.
From this place,you will follow the mountains ridge the Serrat Boleter and the Serrat de la Coromina; you will pass through a way point where at your right is the River Gavarresa and at your left the stream of Olost.
Before arriving at Oristà, you will discover the spectacular escarpment of the hermitage Sant Sebastià, where we sugggest that you climb up to appreciate one of the most beautiful places of the area.
The return from el Bac, is done on the drovers’ road from Oristà to Olost, passing by the Castle of Olost to arrive at our departure point.
